Day 7 of training : Software Engineering test and VVT begins

Index: Other posts on training in this series

First test (SE) finally done. The test wasn’t too tough but some questions were confusing. Almost finished the test in under 10 minutes and pondered over a couple of questions for the rest of the time. Just listening in class and reading the material that was provided would be enough. Not much need for reading book or anything else.

I think I, along with most others, should get by with a fine score. But one can never tell. Results next week.

VV&T training started today. Another video by Pressman. He’s beginning to have a rather soporific effect on me now. But anyway, lecture was a decent refresher and from the basics as usual. Did a group exercise on finding defects in a given document. VV&T test on Wednesday.

Got my official email id!

Very little time to prep for VV&T. This test is gong to have a descriptive section where we will have to write test cases and computeĀ  things like ‘Defect Removal Efficiency’ from some figures given to us.
